Sabihah Mohamed

Chief Executive Officer - CODI

Sabihah was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corporation for Deposit Insurance (CODI), effective 1 January 2024. She joined the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) in 2001, gaining more than two decades of experience in different departments in the SARB, including inter alia banking supervision, bank recovery plans and deposit insurance.

About ARC

The Africa Regional Committee (ARC) of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) was established and formed under the auspices of IADI in 2002. The ARC currently has 14 Members and 6 Associates.

About DPF

The Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda (DPF) is a government agency that provides deposit insurance to customers of deposit-taking institutions licensed by Bank of Uganda.

The Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda (DPF), which is also referred to as the Fund, was established as a separate legal entity following the enactment of the Financial Institutions Act Cap. 57.
