Mr. Peter Mugisa

As Head of Investments, Peter is charged with the responsibility of managing and monitoring all
aspects of the Fund’s portfolio of financial assets. He is an accomplished Financial Analyst
with over eight years’ experience in financial markets operations.

Peter has gained experience in the areas of risk management and financial sector stability monitoring. Before joining the Fund in June 2017, Peter worked at the Bank of Uganda in different departments including Business Continuity & Risk Management, and Financial Stability departments.

Peter holds a Master of Science Degree in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology, United States of America, and a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of CFA Society of East Africa.
